Bus disruption caused by seven-year-old

Parents to blame?

Let’s get one thing straight. I don’t hate kids. I don’t love 'em or anything, nor do I ever plan to have one in my future. But I do find them endearing. Well, when they are well behaved and generally nit making a mess of things. I have a decent amount of patience. But it is not infinite. But there is something else I’d like to say. I like my bus rides quiet and disruption-free. See, most adults know to sit in their seat and calmly wait until their stop is reached.

Now, you being a kid, and especially a young kid, I can sort of excuse that. But...
Just because your parental unit fails at their job, this does not allow you to have free reign to run around like a little demon along the aisles. You disrupt the driver doing this. You disrupt the peace on the bus and – along with those gross candy covered hands – are annoying and remind me why I do not want kids.

No. I know you are seven (or so, I kind of had to guess there) so blaming you for everything is a bit wrong so I’ll take the blame off of you and just come out and say it: your parents suck. They clearly never told you that a moving vehicle + you moving = bad. They never told you that talking loudly while doing this is pushing the limits of most people’s patience.

In fact, your parents suck so much that despite the glares they were receiving from others on the bus that they – the disinterested father and too-cool for school mother – did nothing to rein you in. So to your parents, obnoxious seven-year-old: good job, you both really suck at this parenting thing.
